American Gold Star Mothers, Inc.

Indian River County Chapter

The American Gold Star Mothers, Inc., Indian River County Chapter was founded by Michelle Dale whose son, Army Cpl. Dale J. Kridlo, was killed in action in Afghanistan on November 7, 2010. The Chapter received its Charter on February 19, 2019 and was installed by National Service Officer JoAnn Maitland on April 13, 2019 at a ceremony held at Dogs For Life in Vero Beach, Florida.

American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. is an organization of mothers whose children died while in military service, or died as a result of that service, or are still missing in action. Gold Star Mothers honor service members in need and military families. Our mission is finding strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive by working to help veterans, those currently serving in the military, their families and our communities. We serve in community activities to promote patriotism and support veterans.
